My Dress My Choice
In many sexual assault cases, women are not seen as victims but rather as perpetrators of this criminal act. There seems to be a common belief in patriarchal communities that women are abused because they dress provocatively or their actions are inviting. This is changing with the rise of enlightened, independent and empowered women who are fighting against the objectification of women and demanding rightful control over their body. Men have no right to dictate what women wear or how they behave. There is no justification for sexual abuse.
